Lenovo covers a lot of ground, from affordable family tablets to compact gaming tablets. Here you'll see new and used Lenovo tablets in our price comparison.
The Lenovo tablet family
The Tab M series (e.g. Tab M10, M11) is Lenovo's entry level for streaming, learning apps and families. The Tab P series and the newer Idea Tab line offer better, higher-resolution displays, more storage and in some cases pen and keyboard support. Yoga tablets stand out with their built-in kickstand, which turns them into a mini TV on the table. The Legion Tabs are compact gaming tablets with powerful chips and high refresh rates.
Under names like “Tab One” there are also very simple, compact models of around 8.7 inches – handy as an e-book and video tablet on the go.
Buying criteria for Lenovo tablets
Pay attention to display resolution: at 10 to 11 inches it should be at least Full HD (1,920 × 1,200 pixels), ideally 2K or 2.5K. For RAM, 4 GB is the minimum and 8 GB makes multitasking more pleasant. If you want to browse on the go, look for “LTE” or “4G” in the title.
With older used models (Yoga Tab 3, first-generation Tab M10), check the Android version. Very old systems no longer receive security updates, and some apps won't run on them.
- Tab M / Tab One: affordable, for simple tasks.
- Idea Tab / Tab P: better displays, some with pen and keyboard.
- Yoga Tab: kickstand, good speakers, ideal for media.
- Legion Tab: compact and fast for gaming.
Lenovo for school and business
For pupils and students, an Idea Tab with a keyboard cover is an affordable alternative to a laptop. For businesses there are business versions with longer software support and management features – look for a note to that effect in the listing.
Lenovo new or used?
New Lenovo tablets of the current generation offer the longest update outlook. Used devices are mainly interesting if they're newer Idea Tab or Tab P models. Very cheap, old models are better suited as a second device for the kitchen or the kids.
With every Lenovo listing, check the exact model code such as TB328FU or TB330KU: it tells you the generation and features even if the listing title just says “Lenovo Tab”. That way you avoid mixing up old and new devices.
